Yamaha A3000 Hacking: Sticking your Zip inside
Short answer:
It works. It's easy. No drilling is needed.
But, you have to leave your floppy connected (and mounted inside),
and the lack of extra holes from not drilling means it's only mounted
on two screws instead of four.
Things needed:
- Internal SCSI Zip drive
(I found mine on
eBay for $50)
- Internal harddrive-to-floppy drive power adapter cable
(I built my own from old computer bits)
- Phillips-style screwdriver
Long answer:
TBD
Some photos to appease you until I write this up
Love that DeoxIT! Use it on your knobs
